G'day, mates!
My name is Mark, from Melbourne. Like so many Melburnians, I love the idea of outdoor living, but our weather… well, you know how it is—four seasons in one day! Our backyard was an underused space, and we had a dream of creating an area we could enjoy all year round, whether it was a scorching summer UV ray or a chilly winter afternoon.
After a long search, we settled on a pergola from AlunoTec. Now that the project is all finished, all I can say is: "It's much to the admiration of all. Very, very nice!"
We didn't want to alter the existing structure of our house. We contacted AlunoTec through their website and shared our requirements. They quickly provided a proposal and quote via email. We went for a generous size: 8640mm x 3780mm (approx. 28' x 12')—giving us a huge amount of covered space, perfect for our outdoor dining set, BBQ, and a cozy lounge area. We chose the Dark Grey frame with Dark Grey louver blades; it’s a classic, modern look that complements our house’s exterior perfectly.
The Ultimate Entertainment Hub: This pergola has completely revolutionised our backyard. We hosted a barbie last weekend, and the weather was typically all over the shop—one minute bright sun, the next a light drizzle. But we and our guests remained completely comfortable under the pergola the entire time. The adjustable louver blades let us control the light perfectly, and the integrated LED lights created an amazing atmosphere as the evening set in.
An All-Weather Sanctuary: The added side screens have been an unexpected highlight. They not only provide extra privacy but also fantastic protection on those windy Melbourne days, truly allowing us to extend our outdoor season.

We have to give a special shoutout to the installation process. The installation video and instructions provided by AlunoTec was a very good way to communicate. It was incredibly clear, step-by-step, and made the whole process seem straightforward. It really put our minds at ease and got us excited about the project.
"We are all very excited about it!" – that’s the understatement of the year. It’s more than just a pergola; it’s a new room for our house, a place for us to relax, entertain, and make memories.
